| no partners | | | Been ages since I went for a gravel bike ride. Took Calistoga road to the end and used a short connector trail to jump on the power line road going west. Then, Maricopa trail (FINS to Dogbone) south, cross Rainbow Valley road. East on desert roads and back to Rainbow Valley. South to farm road (Germann) east to 171st ave north, loop around on "Dirt Track" and back on 171st ave north. Saw a bobcat grab a rabbit just before exiting onto Estrella Parkway. Then dirt roads to GNODS/EMRP Iron Ranger connector singletrack. Driveline started making some grinding noises so I took the shortcut 2 track fenceline road west to Estrella Foothills Highschool. Took the Maricopa Trail from the Highschool out to Bougainvillea park, then just followed Callistoga road to the end/home. |
