Mid morning hike out at Skyline. I wanted to get a hike in after running some errands and this trail worked out nicely. Got to the TH around 10am. Did the Turnbuckle going in a CCW direction. Compared to the rest of the trail the north side ascent of the Turnbuckle is pretty rocky, but also, probably the more engaging. When I hit the saddle I took Valley View to the peak and then continued on the Turnbuckle. Very windy which probably contributed to the lousy air quality. Quiet. Only saw six people on the trail. No wildlife. The bridge at the TH was decorated for Christmas.
