| partners | | Again, taking the shortest drive to the closest trailhead for another short hike, this time Tracey was along for company and this time the general direction was CCW, the opposite of yesterday.
From the Bush Highway Trailhead we crossed the road, dropped into the wash along Road Runner Trail(?), then climbed South up Ridge Trail #59 to connect with Hawes Trail #52, which we took South to Saguaro Trail #50, which we followed off-and-on, checking out an abandoned squatter camp before a short stint on Granite Trail #54, more off-trail before taking Ridge Trail most of the way back to the TH. Not getting the best start of ramping up the hiking miles this year, and the motivation is still a bit lagging, but no worries, it'll come around soon enough. |
