Spent the weekend with a few friends running around the northlands. It was marvelously chilly for mid-May, with temps hovering in the low 50s with a fresh breeze. Plenty of water in the canyons, green grass, muddy roads with huge puddles. Good to see the forest in this condition after a below-average winter.

The dogs treed a raccoon, we all glimpsed a few elk, and saw a lot of fresh scat that had emerged from an ursus with a very impressive sphincter.

Didn't spend time trying to capture the surprise aurora, but did enjoy China's ZhuQue-2E light up the sky. Steve be damned.
