Very nice CCW lasso: Up Eagle Falls to the PCT > north to Middle Velma > west on 17E34 into Rockbound Valley > south along lovely Rubicon River and over Mosquito Pass back to the PCT > north up and over "Richard's" Pass > return. Even with the crowds Desolation never disappoints.
