| partners | | Day one of the main event for our trip, hike/backpack half of the Tahoe Rim Trail. Janie dropped us off at Mt Rose to get things started on a two day backpack. We tried to go the wrong direction but soon found the correct route across the highway.
We overnighted at the Marlette campground which was really nice. Big first day followed by an easier second day where Janie picked us up at Spooner Summit and took us back to our campsite at Zephyr Cove.
