The elevation was around 7500+- so the temps were great. It started out nice in the 50's and ended in the 60's. the wind did pick up at Baragman Park but the breeze was nice most of the trip.

It was nice hiking through the Ponderosa Pines and the single track trail had gentle slopes and even the rocky section was easy going for me. This is probably double the distance for my recent hikes but I felt good the enter time.

There were several birds along the way and many squirrels darting about. The black elk where everywhere but ran off as you approached. We passed two horse riders on the way back and that was about all the traffic for the day.
