| no partners | | | Great summit! We drove in with two vehicles. A very capable jeep and a Subaru outback with the extreme package. Both vehicles made it without issue. There are two climbing sections near the very top. Both about 8 to 10 feet tall and both require some easy climbing moves. Exposure is minimal but a fall would land you in the cactus and rocks. We stayed on the left of the main gully as we came up the valley. Travel was reasonable and seemed to be less scratchy than in the wash proper. There is no trail, but route finding is very straightforward. We parked at the very end of the road. |
