| no partners | | | 4:15 car to car two people two dogs. Dogs did not summit but both humans did. Hike passes thru a great shaded micro-climate. Lush and green. Then up thru several valleys and saddles to an intimidating summit. The summit is actually reasonably obtained via a gully that is more reasonable than it appears. Amazing views. This hike, while reasonable for dogs, has several parts where they will need to be lifted or carried. Our dogs are 15 and 20 pounds with one of them missing a back leg. The reason they did not summit was the extreme winds we were getting on top. They waited just below the summit with one of us while the other went up to the summit. |
