Kimball, down Finger Rock Trail to Linda Vista Saddle and down Pontatoc. Thanks to my wife for kindly driving cross town and picking me up and driving me back to Pima TH. The upper part of Pima Canyon was certainly character building, awesome views from the unnamed summit. The new Pontotoc Trail is simply awesome, a wonderful piece of trailcraft and modern trail routing which is very rare in the Cats.
Ended up pretty dry, the only accessible water was midway up Pima Canyon early in the day. Everything in Finger Rock was dry, or inaccessible. |
