Great short half day hike for Winter. Views are not as good as it's sister trail Pontotock Ridge Trail but the trip to the saddle is worth it. There was no water along this trail but it is short and what you need can be carried. For Geology buffs, this Canyon is fascinating. great closeup views of the tilted overburden of the Metamorphic Core Complex System.
