When you enter the Park go left and through the west campgrounds to the Group Camping area. The TH is on the NW quadrant of the lake. It follows the lake for a few hundred yards then goes away from the lake on a nature trail. I stayed along the lake and found various trails as I followed the lake to the east. At the NE quadrant, the trail comes back to the lake. Do not go east and out onto the road (like I did) stay along the lake. The trail continues around the lake to a TH on the South edge of the lake. You could walk through the campgrounds and make a loop. I choose to go back around the Lake so that I could take the side trail to the Sycamore Rim Canyon viewpoint. Well worth the extra effort. |
