Rockin into the wilderness..rockin into the wilderness.oh oh rockin.

We did this route with a Lemmon Twist. We took the Mt Lemmon Trail #5 to 5a then back to 5. At the intersection of Wilderness of Rocks, we needed more miles so we went to the Pass and onto West fork 24(only 1/2 mile) Then backup the pass to Wilderness of Rocks 44 to Lemmon Rock. Lemmon Rock is a nice end to any hike with nice easy switchbacks :sl:

. Needless to say Denny said "I'm never hiking with you again". He says that every time we hike.

This is a great area we didn't see a soul until 3 people came down Lemmon Rock.

I met Denny at 3:30 along the way on I-10 and we made it to the TH prior to Sunrise. We started hiking about 630 and we finished at about 1:45. There was a group of outofstaters who I convinced them to do a group Wendy. There were about 10 of them. Let's see if they email me the picture.

Poor Denny doesn't like curvey roads...the ride in he slept and still felt sick.. the ride out he looked a little green

Hiking time was 6hrs and 1 hour and 11 mins taking pics and snack and lunch and cairns and HAZ rock and HAZ...
