| no partners | | | A treat to start November with a dry day here in the Portland area. And a double treat was the chance to try out my new GPS, one that won't lose the satellites in the forest. My eTrax Legend served me well in the deserts of Arizona but under the dense forests of the Pacific Northwest, it just could't hack it. Nice little hike in the Gorge to a couple of small falls along the Pacific Crest Trail. Fall colors are starting to appear. Maybe another week or so to get the nice red colors, mostly yellows on today's hike. |
