Up Wet Canyon to the climbing wall.
Surprisingly good creek flow.
Very thick flora now with lot's of dragonflies, fungus beetles & wasps.

Up Noon Creek to the upper crossing.
Not surprisingly very low creek flow.
Thick flora with a few frogs.

Wildlife spotted on the drive back down -
1 Whitetail doe
1 Turkey along the road, I've never seen one this low on Graham
10 or so Peccary crossing the Swift Trail straightaway

Perfect temps in the canyons, lot's of green & still some decent water to enjoy.

Creek is slowing down.
Canyon tree frogs starting there songs as I left.
Very green throughout.

First the inner loop with Addie at Dankworth.
Then the out n back to the upper Noon Creek crossing solo.
The canyon tree frogs are now singing all up and down the canyon.
Creek flow has slowed down a bit, snow melt just about done.
Lot's of blooming cactus, dragonflies and frogs.
Before heading home I had a sunset campfire & coffee at RTM CG.

New snow and rain overnight should have all the creeks flowing good.
Drove up to check it out starting with Noon Creek.
Hiked up to the upper crossing to find it flowing heavy, no way I was gonna be able to cross and complete the loop. Hiked back down and drove out to Adams Flat.
Hiked up to the falls overlook and like Noon, heavy flow over the falls ... spectacular!
The water flow down both creeks was about as good as it gets up there.
Quick stop at Roper Lake on the way home for sunset.

Up the Ridge Trail to the overlook just before the switchbacks.
Down the loop trail to the upper creek crossing.
Lot's of ice on the trails and along the creek.
Very cold!
Stopped at RTM CG to warm up with a fire and coffee before leaving.

Snow hike to start 23.
Light snow fall at the start, medium at the upper creek crossing.
Noon creek was flowing heavy.
Snow plow driver said 18 inches fell on top.

When the first big snow falls on my backyard mountain, it's like Christmas morning to me.

I headed up and chose Noon Creek. Perfect middle of the mountain area to snow hike after a storm.
Just simply beautiful up there!
Except for the deer, I put down the first snow tracks on the southern trail portion up to the upper creek crossing.
Good creek flow down the canyon where I had a sit with hot coffee before hiking back out.
2 white tails spotted on the way back.
Wonderful :D

Planned on the loop this evening.
Arrived to see a hunting group camped at the lower trailhead.
Drove up to the upper trailhead and just did the half loop and down into the canyon.
Noon Creek still flowing good, falls looked awesome!
Lightning and rain hit as I came back down the trail and followed me all the way back home.
It just won't stop storming out here ... and that's OK with me :D

Good ole' Noon Creek, always there for me and always good to me!
Looped it this afternoon counter clockwise with a slight threat of monsoons above.
Very scenic trail today with good creek flow at both crossings.
After my hike I settled in at RTM CG with a campfire while awaiting the Harvest Moon rise.
Hike, campfire, stars & full moon ... Superfecta!
Saw 2 Pepe' Le Pews in the road on the drive back down.
