| no partners | | What a great day of hiking. With the prediction of thunderstorms for the state, I packed my rain gear. When I parked at the Rim Top TH, the sky was mostly sunny. I left the rain gear (expect for the rain jacket) in the Jeep.
I headed down the General Crook trail to the Carr Lake/Aspen trail. I took the Carr trail to a trail labeled as "C". This "C" trail looped back to the General Crook trail near the See Canyon area. I headed back down General Crook to Carr trail, then the Carr TH, where I had lunch.
I headed back to the Carr/Aspen trail before headed back on the General Crook. I finished the hike off by going down the 235 Bike trail for a bit.
The weather was perfect. The day was half sunny, half cloudy. At times it looked like it was going to pour, did it never did rain a drop. I didn't see any other people hiking, just a herd of deer crossing the General Crook trail. |
