It's definitely been a while since I've posted here on HikeAZ, but now I'm back. For the hike, it was a little hot when I started (97 out around 3:30), but the clouds and wind came so that made it nice. As I got to the landing pad I could see Rain coming from the south, so I hurried up to the summit and then ran back down. Overall I got lucky to find a short time frame to fit the hike in, considering it was 109 out two days ago. But glad to be back posting on here and viewing the awesome hikes everyone is doing.

What a perfect day to hike Humphreys. I've never been but had it on my wish list for a while. I left Tempe at around 6 got to Flagstaff at 8 and was up on the trail by 8:30am. It took some time for me to get up to the summit, as I was a little slower than usual due to the altitude. But I spent about 2:45 mins up, and 2hrs down. Definitely a fun hike and a good workout. I might say this is = to Quartz Peak in 90 degree weather. So if you can do that, you can accomplish Humphreys.

It was definitely a good hike. I was looking for a challenge and since me and my buddy Zach went off the trail some ways, we definitely increased the difficulty.
