| no partners | | We decide to hike this trail as others trails were pretty populated around the area. First off, must have off-road vehicle or rental. We came across a bed of rocks, a sedan would have bottomed out no doubt.
Our hike being around noon. Weather was perfect, tho sunny most of the time. Overall the hike was pretty good. Not a whole lot of scenery...lots of burnt trees. However, we were able to spot some pretty red leaves along the way.
We rested midway sharing a clif bar and start hiking again. Not to long, the trail ended. Confused...where the hell is the vultee arch. Look to your left. You can climb up the red rock and there will be a sign about the "crash". I also saw some ash there..someone must have been setting a small fire or something.
Overall, not a lot of peeps on the trail and nice view heading back to the trail head. |
