| no partners | | Long 4.7 miles to first saddle. Got caught in lightening/thunder/rain while on Wrightson Peak. Scary but funny at same time. I'd rather die this way than in old folks home eating mush. Great trip overall. No water in either tanks. |

| no partners | | Was in the shade on the way up. Cool and breezy at the top. Not too bad for the middle of summer. Got to see a few plane wrecks besides the big one from last year. Fun group of 4. |

| no partners | | Tired from yesterday's hike, I still went with my friend C. up to Mt. Wrightson. Bugs on top - ick! but beautiful nonetheless. Could smell the smoke in the air. Visibility was poor. Some raindrops on the way back down but nothing more. Humid -- not used to this coming from Phoenix. Hardly anyone on the trail because of the high temps this weekend. (117 in Phoenix). Made it to the peak though. We went up Old Baldy and came down Super trail. Everything was very DRY! Thank you mountain, for letting me climb up you! |

| no partners | | A little warm out but beautiful hike from Inner Basin all the way up to Humphreys Peak. I didn't see the lightening otherwise I would not have gone up to the peak. My fellow hiker told me he saw it afterward. Anyway, tough hike. I think it was 14+ miles even though his GPS said 15+. First time from Inner Basin. |

| no partners | | Did this one by myself before heading back to Phoenix. Can't believe that temp changes so dramatically with the elevation. Very warm at bottom. Cool and windy at the top. Legs were tired from yesterday (Humphreys) but my slow pace was noticed by no one. Horrible traffic jam on the 17 on the way back to Phx. |

| no partners | | Camped out on Hart Prairie Rd with Kim and crew. Was fun. Very windy and COLD from the saddle to the peak. Too cold for me even to get a pic with the sign. Started sprinkling and heard some thunder when I was almost back down to the trail head. Summer Humphrey monsoons have started. |

| no partners | | I went with HHH on part of the AZ Trail. Short of breath - yes. Trailhead is at 5.1 miles up Snow Bowl Rd. Pullout on left hand side of road with split rail wooden fence. Go down trail/road. Not too far down (500 feet or so and before large open field) trail crosses path. Take a right onto this. Note that on the way back, we missed this road and went too far on the smaller path. It was a surprisingly tough hike. about 16 miles. Mostly flat/rolling. Guess I'd better work on my stamina in higher altitudes. |

| no partners | | I led a mix of couchsurfers and people from HHH on this Black Friday hike. I just didn't want to be tempted to shop. It worked! No Black Friday shopping for another year. The great outdoors is good to me! |

| no partners | | It was a fun hike. Gorgeous Thanksgiving Day. No gunshots heard from the nearby shooting range. Nice BIG cairn now by the turnoff to the parking lot on Meridian. |
