Had a great quick hike up to the bridge. It was really fun. Saw a lot of people turn around at the first bridge... too bad. Loved the views! :)

We had a great time at the waterfall today. Boy it can get windy in there! I didn't enjoy the really sandy parts of the trail, but the trail overall is wonderful. A lot of it is sandy. The waterfall is beautiful with an emerald pool beneath it. The water was so clear today, I could count the number of fish I saw in the creek. There was still some icy/snowy parts on the trail, and some parts near the waterfall that were flooded, but overall, the trail was in pretty good condition.

Mud-e. Great views though. Hubbie calls it Devil's Labyrinth instead of Angel's Palace because of all of the overlapping loops. Fun hike.

We hiked this in the snow. Snow snow snow, mid-calf deep snow. But, it was absolutely gorgeous and I enjoyed it immensely. I would recommend this hike to anyone going to Bryce Canyon.

There was still some snow on the ground, and it was a little muddy, but not bad. I especially enjoyed Secret Passageway.

we diligently tried to find the trail in the snow, but since no one had been there before us since the snowfall and the trail could have gone anywhere, we had to turn around pretty quickly :cry:

trudged through the snow and mud to get back to the arch today. love this park, it's great! had a great muddy time. took us a while because it was so slippery muddy.

Hubbie and I hiked up to Mossy Cave and then over to the waterfall and then back out. The cave is super cool and filled with ice stalactites and stalagmites. It's a really quick hike... we made it a lot longer by taking a lot of pictures. The trailhead is right off of UT-12.

Only difficulty we experienced was that a steeper part of the trail was frozen over and slippery ice. We got around the slippery parts and it was fine.

Did this in platforms, seriously. Not a hard hike at all, but very educational. I went during the World Desert Fair, and they had all kinds of fun stuff along the trail. I enjoyed it very much!

Tried out my new Chacos and found out that I'm going to need a lot more experience before I climb steep stuff with them.

Nice day for a hike. I turned around early because I couldn't get the ankle straps right and I kept turning my ankle with the left foot.

Great fun hike. We took our Mitsubishi Lancer back in on the road to the trailhead, but some drivers may not be able to take their cars back that far - my hubbie is way talented at the off-road driving thing - especially in my car.

The trail is wide and most of it was still really really muddy due to the snow melt, but there was a hard pack trail through the vast majority of the trail that made it easy to not get stuck in the mud.

The hard part came at the end where the steps were - and they weren't so hard as slippery. After the steps, the trail was nothing but mud and snow. But, we hiked on over to the bridge and went out on it. It was a good little hike and our timing lent us great light. It was dark when we got back to the car.

Took Soldier Pass Trail to the branch that leads up to the three arches. We hiked up to the arches and played around in them. The trail up to the first arch was impeded by fallen trees, so until those are clear, make sure that you take the left branch of the trail.

There was still snow on the ground in patches and the trail still had several muddy spots. Most of it had dried out enough that it made a cushy trail - not muddy enough to stick to your shoes, but just wet enough to cushion your steps. Nice!

It was overcast until we came down, and that made for a beautiful day with great light for picture taking.

The manzanita were flowering and I've never seen that before - they look like little bleeding hearts!

Didn't make it all the way up because we ran out of daylight.

We had a lot of fun!! We'll be doing this hike again soon before it gets too hot and starting earlier.

I wish that people who take their dogs would pick up the dog crap off of the trail though - that's just gross.

Saw a few poppies and a slew of little purple flowers.
