Wow what a trek. First part of the hike to about .5 mile before the saddle was perfect clear skies and great hiking. Once I was about .5 mile before the saddle I got hit with rain, hail and large crowds of people turning back down the mountain. The higher I got the more hail and snow I encountered. Once I got to the saddle I saw a small opening, and Tim a fellow I met just before the saddle decided to charge to the top in hopes to make it to the peak with the quick window we had. Hands were numb and I was underdressed at the top but the 28 digress and 10 mph wind was a great refresher from the 105 degrees in the Valley.

Early AM hike to the top of camelback. Seemed like alot of people were trying to beat the heat and get up early to get to the top.

Great time of the year to get out and hike. Was a little on the warn side (95 degrees) but nothing someone from AZ couldn't handle.
