| no partners | | | Hiked counterclockwise. Not a cloud in the sky. 8:05am 5 of us set out. Parking was about 1/3 full. Saw no one until the intersection of 104 & 235. Once there, saw a couple of solo hikers. Trails were dry, very little water in creek crossings. Zero difficulty to cross. Saw 1 horse & rider. 3/4’s the way to finish saw a couple of couples hiking clockwise. First time hiking in this direction & I’d say I prefer it! One of my fave hikes in the Supes. |

Followed the cairns back to the slick rock where the trail descends to RR. Since I had been there several times before, no navigational tools used…just remembered the route to get to the roost. Just before we arrived a group of 21 had scrambled up the shute so we had the place to ourselves until 1 other couple of hikers arrived.
