| no partners | | Hike #2 of 5 of the PHX5 Phoenix Summit Challenge. This was a new one for me. I had never hiked from Desert Vista Trailhead. Very pretty area. Parking for this was a mess because the trailhead parking lot was too small for the number of hikers doing the summit challenge. I got lucky and found a spot in the lot near the trailhead, but the rest of my group ended up parking a couple blocks away. I'll have to come back here some time and explore more trails in this very pretty area.
