My parting meal included ono fish and greens from the garden. Also, white pineapple which is better than regular pineapple; a lot less acidic, just like the Kona coffee. So needless to say, I'm on a white pineapple hunt at the stores. Upper photo is Lilikoi foam on some sort of cocktail.
What a fabulous ending; so very hard to leave.
White pineapples, often called Sugarloaf pineapples, are a rare variety known for their white flesh, low acidity, and sweet, almost floral flavor. They are typically less fibrous than yellow pineapples and have an edible core. A white pineapple, also known as a Sugarloaf pineapple, is identifiable by its creamy white to pale yellow flesh and a soft, edible core when cut open. On the outside, it may appear similar to a yellow pineapple, but ripe white pineapples often have a greenish exterior. The key indicators are the pale interior color and the lack of sharp acidity, indicating sweetness.
