Actually, really enjoyed this trip. It was nice to plan on snow rather than running into it along the way. First hike with Bob(rlrjamy)had some good laughs took in some great scenery and had an adventure or two along the way. Brought out the inclinometer on a ski pole and our first climb was 800 feet virtually straight up on a slope that averaged about 40 degrees to the lunch spot which had 360 degree views. :sweat:

We did a couple of these climbs and slides back down.

Anyway, Broke a snowshoe which probably should be expected after 13 years of abuse which made traversing to my right a little more difficult at least that is the story I'm sticking to. No headers and I came home with all limbs intact. Saw what appeared to be baby sasquatch tracks on the road on the way out.

I tried to leave my gps at the spot where I put on the snowshoes, but remembered I already used my dividend and 20% coupon at REI so I went back and got it. Maybe next year.
