| no partners | | Finally made the hump to the summit of the loaf and boy is it sweet!
There is a calm protected little basin on top in between the two high points that is a literal elk haven, nearly every tree is rubbed, scat practically makes up the ground itself and fresh bed prints everywhere.
Somehow was able to find the small and well hidden summit register and with only two other signatures just goes to show how hidden it was as I know this place has probably seen hundreds of people since the last log back in 2000.
Growing up just a few miles away I’ve seen the peaks thousands of times but this was perhaps the most remarkable view yet. |
