As always, this is an absolutely beautiful area. We did not follow the standard hike but chose to hike/climb one of the many small rocky mounds that make up the area. A short hike up pretty much any one of these will provide excellent views with minimal effort. If you bring your dog you can still make it almost all the way up most of these hills on four legs. We didn't take the full hike up the creek but I have before and it is an easy stroll with nice scenery, but it does lack the view from above.
