Just got my permit to visit Tres Rios the other day and decided to take my daughter out to see some birds. We got started a bit later than would have been prudent and the heat proved to be a bit much shortly into our journey (about 8:30AM.) I had not paid too close attention to where to go while here so we pretty much stuck to the south bank of the canal and looked for Egrets and Herons. I need to get back here again at dawn so it is not so brutally hot.
