After hiking the Silver Spur trail earlier, I drove up the Bonita canyon road to Massai Point to watch the sun go down behind the hoodoos. Storms were hitting hard in all the valleys below around the monument. I spent about 2 hours on top before night hit and drove back down to my campsite as the rain started falling. It rained all night long!
