Had to stay close to town today but needed my exercise so I went out to Roper Lake for the evening. I hiked the trail around the lake and up the Mariah Mesa trail and back down to the island. I spent about an hour swimming and for the first time all summer, the water was cold! Watched the sunset from the island before returning home. Another nice evening at the park!
