| no partners | | when you drive down I-10 or preist drive papago doesnt look that big at all with the other peaks around you, and even when you are at the parking lot it still looks small, but trust me it is an illusion. when you start to hike up it, you start to realize how big this park really is. I just love the strange rock caves, which i call dinosaur do-do. if you never been here and you are coming to Phoenix, you must do this park. small but loads of fun. it is like a adult verison of a playground. the rock formation alone is worth the drive to come see, since nothing around even comes close to the weirdness of the shapes, caves, and shrimp color rock, that looks like concrete mixed with hugh stones. love to sit up at top and watch the coyotes chase the quail and jackrabbits with binoculars. You just got to do this park, which you can easily spend 4 hours at. |
