I like the realignment of the trail. The trail is in amazing shape, of course I don't spend much time on trails. I had forgot how quick you can hike on a trail and the distance went quick. We decided to make it a loop rather than an out and back so returned via a wash and went thrashing thru the brush when we smelled out a couple mine shafts. Nice find. A rattlesnake greeted us in one of them. He was very lethargic.
