So much better to be climbing than cooking and cleaning which is a down side to a Christmas Eve b-day. I had wanted to do this climb when I first finished my climbing class but was reassigned at the time to something a little less challenging. It was great to finally get on it and check it off the list! Thanks to Eric for all of his great skills. 
. It was a beautiful day although a smidge chilly in the shade at the bottom. We found lots of things "hanging" on the route--including me! (some items that were "hanging" appeared to be more seasonal--see photos) Cracked the LCD screen on my olympus during a hanging event. No more canyoneering for that camera. I'm still fussing with a new pair of climbing shoes that aren't helping me much.....thankful that REI has a nice return policy.
