This is a cross between the Wet Beaver Canyon Loop hike and the Bell Trail hike. We started off on the Bell Trail for 4 miles before dropping into the creek for 2.5 miles upstream (13 miles RT). Once in the creek there was lots of scrambling, wading, swimming and rock hopping. The sandstone walls closed in creating many beautiful pools that we swam/floated through. This long out-and-back is a good alternative to the big loop. We turned around at the big log jam, but there are some nice pools beyond that I have been to on previous trips.
