We did this as a scouting trip to check the road to Waldroup Canyon as well as hiking Waldroup down to the base of the third "swimmer" - the falls. I wanted to find the best route down or around the seven dry falls in Waldroup. Being that we were day-hiking with small light packs all falls could be negotiated without the aid of rope or pack passing. I will lead a group for the Sierra Club next week as we make our way through the canyon from Waldroup to Bell TH in a long day-hike.
