| partners | | We entered the Bulldog OHV area through the gate at the parking lot at milepost 204 on Apache Trail with the plan to drive in as far as practical then set off on foot to find a large cave I had run across a year ago. Last year I had taken the chance in a rough area and drove quite some distance until ground clearance became a problem. But on the trip back out in the rough area I was unable to place the tires where I wanted them and ended up tearing a sidewall, so even though this year I had new, tougher off-road tires I didn't want to press my luck.
Since we weren't following any specific trail it was more or less a day of meandering wherever our whim took us. Although overcast it was a nice day and I ended up taking well over a hundred photos, which I narrowed down to 100 before posting on my web site.
