| partners | | Bummed that we had to call off the Mt Lemon Hike because of heavy snowfall, we decided that we'd like to go somewhere that would take advantage of the Saturday moisture.
We were surprised to see the amount of snow we did up here. Four Peaks and all the rest of the peaks were looking incredible wrapped in snow! The five of us, including my new friend Tugger (oh yea... Amy too) started and got a couple of miles in before the blur (Dave)joined us.
We made the turn off 109N onto the trail to Reavis Falls and the snow got a bit deeper.
In the creek bed now, making our final push to the falls, we passed by numerous smaller falls and larger pools of water. The falls were real impressive. None of the pictures do the height or flow of water justice. We ate some lunch and made our way back to the Car..
Thanks to both Nick and Tugger's mom for driving. What an absolutely perfect day for hiking, meeting new friends, and soaking up the views in the Supes. |
