| no partners | | | Hanging out on the mesa tops is fun and all, but going into the canyons is much better. This trail was beautiful. It was very late in the day so there were virtually no people out. The only people I encountered were at Spruce Tree House, and even then, there were only a handful. The sunset was casting glow on the cliffs above, and the canyon remained shady and cool. After making the climb out, I followed the road back to the museum. Finished about a quarter after 7 and the parking lot was completely empty. |
