| no partners | | | This is a very late triplog, but I figured since I only have one posted I would go through some images to help post a few previous hikes. This was more of a photo excursion than a hike since that was my main goal. Back in February a friend and I set out to the superstitions to photograph at night hoping to try some light painting over the mountain. We arrived at lost dutchman state park about an hour before sunset to make sure we could get to the base without any visual issues. We were the only ones going up the trail and greeted plenty of others coming down. I saw some of the most extraordinary light displays this evening. Hiking back at night under a very bright half moon was a new experience. We could hear a pack of howling coyotes in the distance. My excursions to the superstitions are always memorable ones. Can't wait to get back up there soon. |
