| no partners | | | Sunday I made it up to west fork dark and early to get a head start to the long pools past the subway area and photograph the fall color on the way back. It seems the colors should be all at peak in a matter of days, but there is definitely an abundance of color to enjoy now. Lots of yellows and reds about halfway into the trail. Water was a bit frigid, but got used to it pretty quickly. Compared to last year at this time it looks like the colors are much more vibrant in color. If your thinking about getting your fall fix I strongly recommend this trail for the week. |
