Not so good up there. I can only speak for about the first third though. I went off trail over a little rise at the tanks and encountered a really neat little gully with an old trail on the banks that bears and hunters keep in shape now. Lots of bear poo of all sizes and ages. A few red maples, I'd say 50% are still green or mostly green. I followed my off trail route a few hours then came back and up the traditional trail. I am kinda prissy about this area and think it has not been at it's peak for 5-6 years now. I'll come back in a week or two. It is still pretty, just not very impressive.
