I had been wanting to hike to Wasson Peak for at least a month, but only finally made it back to Kings Canyon Trail the day after Thanksgiving. Thought my friend and I would run into crowds, but perhaps the chilly, cloudy weather (or Black Friday and college football) kept people away. We only ran into 5 small groups on our way down and we didn't even get started until 9 a.m.

This is a great hike on a cool, cloudy day. Especially after some rain because the views are just unbeatable. The sun only decided to make its way out in full force just before noon, as we were nearly back to my car.
