On a wet morning/day we hiked towards Charlebois to check out Music Canyon. By the time we got back to the TH we were soaked. We followed the notes in the Hiker's Guide to the Superstition Wilderness, trip 17, hiking up the canyon, then exited out a west drainage connecting with Peter's trail. While we were hunting for Peter's trail the rain started coming down pretty good which made it a little more difficult to find. Once on Peter's trail we made the hike down to the Dutchman. The plan was to then go to Charlebois spring and then re-visit the Peralta Map but since the rain was still pretty heavy we opted to make our return to the TH. The rain slowed some on the way out, but then increased again once we passed Bark's Canyon. The last mile and a half it was coming down pretty good.
