The mutt and I went off Monday morning. We had a slow roll back to Charlebois. Stopping to check out Le Barge Spring and wandering off on some side trails.

Had a good night there and met an interesting dude. He had done the AZT a few years back and as it turns out, lives a block away from me. Small world. We had some drinks and chatted till it got dark and I hit the hay. We exchanged contact information and plan on meeting up for some day hikes.

We left in the morning and had a wander to find the master map. No luck.

I spent the second night at the junction of Dutchman and Bluff Springs trail. Pretty uneventful really. Sat in camp and read while the pup slept.

My new to me super light weight tent worked well, I am well pleased with that purchase. I would be concerned if it was dumping like Reavis the week before.

Over all it was a good trip.
