Invited Aaron on this longer hike, he brought along Aldo and Hugo, the German Shorthair Pointers. Started out a little cold, glad I had the gloves, but before too long didn't feel the cold too much, no wind to speak of. Trail along Cave Creek just beautiful, loved the narrow canyon next to Cramm Mountain in particular. Three creek crossings were more like a fast jump over the rocks! The dogs would run up ahead and then back to us, all over the place. Hoped to see some wildlife in here but they may have heard us coming, neat to see the snow. Last few miles were a little tiresome down the rocky slope. Would like to explore more in the area, Skull Mesa perhaps.
