| no partners | | From Robbers Roost due north to canyon. Longer but no poison ivy. One of our five developed some problems by time we reached the "mandatory water crossing" ( 60 yards of swimming in 48 degrees). That was exhilarating!
Two of us decided to escort the ailing member upcanyon, and we were fortunate to find a nice small camp 1/2 mile east of the water obstacle.
Canyon northeast of the "Confluence" contains no fewer than 6 water obstacles, one knee-deep, the others side-steppable through heavy brush. Nice swimming holes in summer I suppose, but crappy hiking. Didn't see any ivy though, so life is good. |
