| no partners | | | OK, found the Reynolds Creek Ruins-on the first attempt!!!! Thanks, in part to topo maps, common sense and mostly pics;posted by a few of you guys, right here on HAZ. Got lucky, in that, the morning was cool and partly cloudy from the rain the evening before and the ruins were in fact, exactly where I calculated them to be! No snakes or bears encountered, but we did see what appeared to be bear scat about mid-way on the trail AND in the collapsed side of the ruins! I attemped a pic mimic, but since my color printer was on the fritz, and the B & W pics werent very clear, the end result was some close approximations-without me holding the pic I had wished to mimic. Spent a few hours there, then hiked backed, in the rain. The monsoon Gods were kind to us! |
