started at my brother's cabin on summer haven lake, went around some other lakes, then took an ATV path i hadn't been on
came out on big island road, then hiked through wildwood park, which is kind of overgrown, abandoned and scary (neither of us would go in there alone, think boogeyman and hookman)
along the platte river and back to summer haven
saw three deer and one big hawk
river and all of the lakes are down due to lack of rain
canopy of cottonwoods for much of the way
warm, humid but a nice breeze from the south
nice to be out with my mom - we've covered a lot of ground on our walks
