| no partners | | | My last hike in Mt. Charleston was MaryJane Falls in early July and I've been itching to get back to Mt. Charleston ever since. Little Falls was on the agenda today. I only had a half a day to explore and I knew it was going to be a short hike, but I didn't think we'd go there and back in less than 30 minutes! The trail starts at the bottom of Cathedral Rock as part of the Echo Trail (which I'll definitely hike next time) but goes off a little (and I mean LITTLE) ways to a seasonal waterfall. I'd seen some videos online and it looked like the falls flowed pretty well, but when we got there it was just trickling. It was very lush and green leading up to the falls, and very kid friendly. I even saw a family of 5 that were all wearing flip-flops... not my footwear of choice but on this trail it is doable. I tried to look around more and find extra plants to photograph in order to pass time, but finally decided another hike would pass the time better! On to Robbers' Roost! |
