There were still a few colorful trees left, but it wasn't what I was hoping for. Regardless, the views from the top of Cathedral Rock are spectacular! I was surprised to see that the snow from a few weeks ago was still hanging on at the peaks. It was a bit of a chilly and windy hike, but very enjoyable. I parked at the Lower Cathedral Rock trailhead and made my way up the stairs and to the left to follow the trail. If you go to the right, it will take you to Little Falls (a very short hike to a spring). If you look straight up from the trailhead, that's were you're headed! It is a moderate 1.5 miles to the top. The trail is VERY well maintained and even looks like the are still doing more construction on it. |
